I visited there with a friend for a dine in on a weekend evening. Clean environment and not noisy to have a good conversation. Food came out in about 15 minutes after putting our orders in. Server was great and attentive. House lamb Biryani was great. Overall would visit again.

This is the 3rd time we've been here over a very long period. The premises are uninviting and in poor maintenance, I'm not sure it has been decorated since the 1st visit. The server was friendly and attentive and the food was good especially the Tandoori Chicken. The prices are OK but increased since last year with no meals deal available as before. Try to avoid using the toilet. Overall good food let down by the premises.

I am writing this review as I m enjoying this superb butter chicken. I was craving for butter chicken at 1am on a Friday night. Having been reassured this is the northern Indian style butter chicken that I am craving for by the friendly chef, I drove all the way from Frenchay for the order and had a good chat with the chef. It was well worth the drive, one of the best butter chicken and garlic naan i ve ever had! I will bring my family over next time!

First-time visitor to this restaurant. Staying in Bristol on business and wanted a traditional style Indian meal. Very impressed with the experience at Bombay Boulevard. Had popadoms and pickle tray to start, followed by keema matar - madras hot and chapatis for main course. The food was fresh, tasty and authentic. Great service by the owner, and good value too. I can highly recommend this restaurant. I will return.

RUN don't walk to this yummy indian. T'was a saturday night and our first choice, a greek place, was fully booked. Silly us not booking a table ahead of fishermens friends at the hippodrome but we are friends of "lady fate" deciding for us and boy, were we happy she did. located close to the hippodrome this restaurant should be busy 2 hours before a show but it was empty. I looked at my partner and almost used a veto when he said he fancied indian because an empty place at prime time with a slightly dodgy outdoor decor is usually not a great idea. I am so glad we ended up going inside. The waitress, who's name I have forgotten but who deserves a raise, praise, a monument and all the good things in the world, was absolutely outstanding. she was so kind, told us all about some of the indian dishes we didn't know, and worked super quickly as well. the menu is HUGE, which is a good thing. you can get basically any dish either as chicken, beef, duck or with seafood. we ordered a lot of food. you can order poppadoms with 6 different dips which are all absolutely delicious, the samosas were yummy and we had a more unusual beef starter which just melted in our mouths and was reason alone to come back. we are not great with spicy food so stayed away from that and both ordered curries for our main course. all the staples like the onion bahjis, the daals and the naan breads were exquisite and nearly filled us up already. then the currys came. my sauce was to die for and the meat was very tender again. to make it short - I do not know why this place was empty. we were the only customers in there from the time we walked in until we left, and this place deserves so much more. Service charge is not included so please, please tip the loving staff and if I could give one recommendation - invest in a proper POS system. the poor waitress has to handwrite each receipt and tally it all up manually which just seems unnecessary in this day and age. We ordered a lot and our bill came to just below £80 which was including 2 beers - the value for money is outstanding!

Second time vising this place. This time, I went purely for a sauce as I already had some stuff to go with. It was late at night and had a mild busy-ness about it. The parking was very difficult because of double yellows outside and quite a lot of bustle (some trucks were coming down for filming). Also worth noting this is well inside the Clean Air Zone, so if your vehicle isn't compliant, you'd only want to come if you'd be there anyway. I like mixing flavours and I really had hankering for both the banana based sauce with hints of the tandoori spice. It was a bit of fight to get it - the kitchen seemed fine with it but the front-of-house person was a little reluctant to ask. I'm glad I got it, because it was exactly what I wanted. I was reminded of the style of this place from last time, though, which is more of a toned down flavour profile than the really vibrant spice flavours some indian takeaways offer. I feel like my order was met with some confusion and resistance, which I can half understand, but also I kind of think, if it's possible, just do it! Anyway, eventually, they did, and it was a fun little visit.

We were the only customers at 8pm on Thursday. Chicken Korma was good. Prawn Mahkani was also good. Peshwari naan a little dry. Overall we were happy.

My friends and I went for dinner on Sunday evening at Bombay Boulevard. The food was delicious, all of us chose different dishes and sides and each one delicately infused a different flavor to the overall meal. The poppadoms were tasty, and despite the edges being slightly caught I would recommend the delicious spicy poppadoms along with the Keema Naan which I had with Keema Pilau Rice and a beautiful Butter Chicken. Everything was very reasonably priced. Fantastic service too from a lovely gentleman who even spoke to us about his planned redecoration of the upper floor. We look forward to returning.
